A useful B2B brief defines more than an industry and a job title. It explains which decisions respondents make, the experience they need, and the organisations they should represent.

Include your business objective, target countries, sectors, company sizes, job functions, decision-making involvement, sample size, quotas, interview length, and deadline. Add any requirements for validation, recording, incentives, or deliverables.

Separate essential criteria from preferred criteria. Highly restrictive combinations can reduce recruitment feasibility and affect timing.

An early feasibility discussion helps connect the audience definition with a realistic recruitment plan.
